"History of Yanyuan" is a collection of selected papers from the Peking University History Forum sponsored by the Department of History of Peking University and hosted by the Graduate Student Association and Student Union of the Department of History of Peking University. The Peking University History Forum brings together history majors from well-known universities across the country and is an important platform for history majors to showcase their fledgling academic achievements and exchange academic experiences. This book selects 10 excellent works from the 17th Peking University History Forum in 2021, covering Chinese history and world history, ancient and modern times, history and archaeology. The content includes the official system issues of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Buddhist temple policy during the Wu Zetian period of the Tang Dynasty, the political and ethical thoughts of Wang Anshi in the Song Dynasty, Tianyu's statement and the British and American reactions, the history of Nagasaki study tours in the Edo period of Japan, political issues in the early days of the founding of Mexico in the 19th century, the British 1918 influenza pandemic, the Iranian hostage crisis, etc.
