"Proceedings of the Academic Seminar on "Interaction and Symbiosis on the Silk Road"" is composed of more than 20 carefully selected papers from the conference papers of the academic seminar on "Interaction and Symbiosis on the Silk Road" jointly organized by the China Society for the History of Chinese-Foreign Relations and the China Northeast Asia Research Center of Dalian University in October 2016. Against the backdrop of the country's advocacy of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, and from the perspective of global history, this collection of essays examines the historical phenomenon and trajectory of different civilizations' continuous interaction and win-win symbiosis on the Silk Road. It focuses particularly on the important historical roles played by the countries and civilizations in Northeast Asia, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia on the Silk Road. It has important academic promotion in the current study of the Silk Road, and is also of great reference significance for the current national "One Belt, One Road" policies.
