This volume is the Special Olympics Family Leaders Volume, which interviews 16 Special Olympics family leaders in seven cities, including Harbin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, Wuhan, Xi'an and Kunming. They are not only parents of people with intellectual disabilities, but also leaders in organizing and coordinating families with disabilities from all over the world to participate in Special Olympics sports, social activities, and strive for social resources. Families of these individuals with intellectual disabilities have made many efforts and responses to combat differentiation and distinction. In their stories, we can see the antagonistic reactions, as well as the inclusiveness and extensibility of individual lives nurtured by time.
