The School of Liberal Arts of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology is the liberal arts department with the longest history of running the school. It is the first teaching unit of the school to be awarded the right to award bachelor's degrees and master's degrees. It has the right to award first-level master's degrees in Chinese language and literature. The School of Liberal Arts has a faculty with a reasonable professional title structure, high academic levels, and a wide range of academic connections. In 2018, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology is about to celebrate its 60th anniversary, and the School of Liberal Arts is also celebrating its 60th anniversary. Therefore, the School of Liberal Arts plans to collect and publish the representative academic papers published by current teachers over the years, one article per person, including more than 50 papers, classified according to ancient Chinese literature, modern Chinese literature, comparative literature and world literature, linguistics and applied linguistics. Finally, a list of previous leaders and teachers of the School of Liberal Arts and a 60-year alumni list are attached as a commemoration.
