This manuscript is an academic monograph and the result of the research project "Exploration of the Teaching Practice of Ancient Chinese Poetry". This manuscript focuses on exploring how to achieve "holistic observation" in ancient poetry teaching in junior middle schools, and then achieve the purpose of teaching ancient poetry. The whole manuscript is composed of three parts: "Reading Poems and Understanding People" with a holistic view, "Appreciating Poems and Understanding the Tao" with a holistic view, and "Reciting Poems and Seeking Beauty" with a holistic view. It analyzes many problems, elements and implementation paths in the teaching of ancient poetry. The language is fluent, the cases are rich, and the operability is strong. It is a teaching theory book with novel views and quite inspiring.
