This book is one of a series of books launched by our agency to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The book selects more than 800 poems by 278 marshals and generals from many poems by generals. The selected poems are all in old style and cover a wide range of contents. Some record major battles and battles, some express revolutionary pride, some commemorate revolutionary comrades, some express gratitude to fellow villagers, some chant things and clarify aspirations, and some reflect on the past and present.
