This book is the fourth volume of the oral series of research on the history of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It contains the oral memories of 27 alumni who were underground members of the Communist Party of China who studied at Jiao Tong University and were engaged in revolutionary work. They are arranged in order of the time they entered Jiao Tong University. The content focuses on the underground party members and alumni's past studies and revolutionary experiences at Jiaotong University, their career struggles and social contributions after the founding of the People's Republic of China, their feelings about their alma mater and their messages to young students. It demonstrates their patriotic feelings of bravely serving the country and being loyal to the people, adhering to their beliefs and indomitable revolutionary will, and their upright and courageous personality. Each oral narrative strives to have both pictures and text, and the text is highly readable, so as to be closer to the majority of readers.
