In October 2015, the "Research on Ethnic Contracts Unearthed from the Silk Road" was held in Turpan City "International Academic Forum", more than 40 experts and scholars from home and abroad participated in the meeting. They conducted multi-faceted discussions on the Qilin, Tubo, Uighur, Xixia, Chagatai and Chinese contract documents unearthed along the ancient Silk Road. They also discussed the prosperity of contracts along the Silk Road. Many insights were put forward in terms of the role of the contract in various ethnic languages, the similarities and differences between contracts in various ethnic languages and those in Chinese, as well as the evolution of differences and convergence, the adjustment of the Silk Road route and its economic activities in different periods, and the understanding of the characteristics and regularity of the development of the contract itself. These academic results are now compiled into the "Collection of Research on Contract Documents of Various Ethnic Groups on the Silk Road" for the purpose of wider exchange.
