"Yuan Sanqu" is one of the series of books on the beauty of traditional Chinese poetry. It is edited by Xu Zhongyu, a well-known scholar and the founder of "university Chinese", and edited by Professor Tan Fan of East China Normal University. It includes works by Yuan Haowen, Ma Zhiyuan, Guan Yunshi, Guan Hanqing, Wang Shifu and others. The edited content of this book not only includes famous works by well-known authors, but also takes into account the diversity of modern literature and includes as many aspects as possible. Each article includes an introduction to the author, selected works, and is followed by the author's explanation of the work and a collection of reviews. It is also accompanied by detailed annotations and phonetic annotations for rare words. It is suitable for literature lovers as a popular reading book, and is also suitable as a supplementary teaching material for middle school and undergraduate students, which can improve literary literacy and enhance their ideological realm. This book is divided into five parts for selected examples of articles: (1) Introduction to the author (only listed in the first article of all selected works by the author, and will not be reprinted in the future); (2) Main text; (3) Notes; (4) Explanation; (5) Collection review (depending on the specific circumstances of the work). The "annotations" are mainly to clarify the words and sentences and explain the allusions, and generally do not conduct detailed research. Different explanations should be followed, and they should be made popular, simple, clear and straightforward. The "Explanation" provides a brief appreciation of the article and a brief reminder of the creative background and main artistic features. The "Collected Comments" section does not take the author's overall comments, but only the evaluation text of a single work. If there are many comments, the most outstanding ones will be selected and recorded. The text of the chapters included in this book is basically based on "Quan Yuan San Qu" compiled by Sui Shusen. Any obvious errors will be corrected and explained in the notes.
