Paopi is Noisy
History袍皮闹
Du's Younger Brother
During the Republic of China, there were three bachelors (none owned) in Tuqiao Township, Ba County, Sichuan. They were originally farmers, but they became bankrupt farmers under the exploitation and oppression of local tyrants. In order to survive, they formed gangs, robbed homes, cut paths and kidnapped people. After being taught and inspired by a sower of revolutionary fire, the three men changed their ways and devoted themselves to the workers' movement. They bravely protected the factory during Japanese air raids and captured a hidden Japanese female spy. On the eve of the liberation of Chongqing in 1949, in order to welcome the liberation and protect the factory, under the leadership of the underground party organization, they fought to protect the factory against enemies who were unwilling to fail, until they died gloriously. The work has a strong local flavor and a distinctive folk custom of Ba County, with rich use of dialects and slang, and vivid and humorous descriptions. At the same time, each chapter is interspersed with a large number of detailed local historical materials, which adds a lot to the work.
