This book is an academic monograph that studies and introduces Mao Zedong's situation and experience in interpreting "The Art of War". It is also a new academic work that fills the academic gap. With relatively full possession of research materials, the author of this book delved into Mao Zedong's "The Art of War" and military culture, commented on his thoughts and art from multiple angles, and skillfully applied Sun Tzu's Art of War to real life. It is a rare academic monograph. The book is divided into three parts. The first part tells the process of Mao Zedong's contact with and understanding of "The Art of War", mainly involving the reading life of young Mao Zedong. Through specific examples in the book, the author shows us the spirit of a young man with a deep sense of saving the country who tirelessly explores in ancient Chinese culture; the second part tells the story of Mao Zedong's guidance. The process of others reading "Sun Tzu's Art of War" has cultivated a group of great strategists and military experts with deep "Sun Tzu's thoughts" in our country, and has also set a precedent and laid a foundation for the study of ancient Chinese culture. The third part, which is also the most important part of the book, is Mao Zedong's flexible use of "Sun Tzu's Art of War" and his examples in actual combat. This part is classified into thirteen articles in "The Art of War". Each article uses one or several combat examples to analyze Mao Zedong's understanding and application of "The Art of War". At the same time, it also depicts a magnificent history of the struggle of our party and our army.
