Dong Hengbo, born in Shenyang in 1956, graduated from the Writers Class of the Chinese Department of Peking University in 1990. He is the author of a collection of poems "The Goddess Smiles to Herself", a collection of children's poems "The Snowman is Missing", a collection of children's novels "Unspeakable", a collection of essays "Liaoning Prose Series·Dong Hengbo Volume", a song "Gathering Tree Seeds", etc. The novel "Magic Sound" won the 11th Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award, the essay collection "Hometown of the Red Mountain Goddess" won the 5th and 6th National Five One Project Excellent Book Awards, and the children's novel collection "Secrets Cannot Be Revealed" won the 6th National Five One Project Excellent Book Award. Currently serves as the editor-in-chief of "Literary Youth" magazine.
