Under the leadership of Manco, the Inca and the Spanish fought for decades more. Because the Spanish continued to increase their troops from overseas, the Incas were finally dispersed. Manco himself was killed by a Spanish soldier who defected to the Inca army. At this point, the entire Inca Empire was completely destroyed.
