Oral history in the modern sense emerged from the West in the 1940s and has developed into a specialized discipline with strict definitions and norms. It is also attracting more and more attention in the field of Chinese history and has a trend of vigorous development. This book selects nearly 20 relevant articles at home and abroad, aiming to show readers the development process, basic theories and academic norms of the subject of oral history as systematically and comprehensively as possible.
