The protagonist Chen Mo, 27 years old, was originally a programmer for an Internet company. He lost his job due to the company's bankruptcy and was forced to become a night shift taxi driver. He was born with a pair of "yin and yang eyes" and can see spirits invisible to ordinary people, but he has been suppressed by drugs. After driving a night taxi, he gradually discovered the unknown side of the city at midnight - the place where ghosts, resentful spirits, and yin and yang meet.
