北魏考课制度研究
Dai Weihong
This book starts from the social and political realities of various stages in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and carefully combs the development process of the formation, establishment, evolution and destruction of the examination system in the Northern Wei Dynasty. This paper discusses the relationship between the examination system of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the dual administrative system of Hu and Han, and points out that before Emperor Xiaowen reformed the official system, the inner court officials with Xianbei characteristics in the central administrative system basically did not take exams, and the local administrative system did not take exams for chiefs and tribal chiefs, but the government adopted various methods to conduct exams for state, county and county officials. The mutual mobility between the central court, the outer court and local officials actually strengthened the examination and thus played a destructive role in the dual system of Hu and Han. This paper analyzes the relationship between the examination system and elections in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and points out that in the Northern Wei Dynasty, examinations and elections were gradually separated due to the specialization of the content of Xiu Xiao policy questions, changes in election objects, and the transformation of Zhongzheng functions. It also discusses the relationship between the examination system and the salary system in the Northern Wei Dynasty, as well as the relationship between the examination system in the Northern Wei Dynasty and the patrol of ambassadors, the reporting of officials and the people, and the promotion and punishment of officials.
