Principles of Underwater Acoustic Detection and Communication

Compiled By Yao Zhixiang And Others

155K0

This book systematically introduces the principles of underwater acoustic detection and communication. The book has 14 chapters in total, divided into two parts. The first part (Chapter 1 to Chapter 9) mainly describes the principles and methods of sonar detection, direction finding, ranging, speed measurement, as well as underwater acoustic target positioning, tracking, and reconnaissance. It also introduces several types of underwater target detection technologies based on the development of underwater target detection technology in recent years. Main non-acoustic detection methods; the next chapter (Chapter 10-14) mainly describes the principles and methods of underwater acoustic communication channels, underwater acoustic source coding, underwater acoustic channel coding, and underwater acoustic communication modulation and demodulation, and introduces the development status, characteristics and structure of underwater acoustic communication networks. This book takes hydroacoustic target detection, position and acoustic element measurement, and hydroacoustic communication as clues. The underwater acoustic detection principle part focuses on the understanding of signals and interference and the utilization of intrinsic information; the underwater acoustic communication principle part takes into account the basic theory of communication and the characteristics of underwater acoustic channels. This book can be used as a reference book for undergraduates, graduate students and teachers in hydroacoustic engineering, as well as for sonar developers and users.
