This book selects wonderful passages from Lu Xun's works and divides them into four major sections, aiming to allow readers to understand China through reading Lu Xun. These four parts are: history, society, national character and reform. The text is selected from Lu Xun's manuscripts and letters, and a large part of it comes from Lu Xun's essays. Lu Xun's essays are concise and rich in content. Because of the relationship between the times and the living conditions of the nation, when Lu Xun evaluated China's history and reality, he often spoke sharply and sometimes made fierce remarks, which sometimes make people tremble with fear and sometimes make their blood boil.
