461K01

This book embodies Professor Guo Qiyong's experience in teaching and research for more than thirty years, and reflects the common endeavors and accumulation of generations of scholars over the past century since the discipline of Chinese philosophy was established. The book systematically introduces the development history of Chinese philosophy, with special emphasis on elucidating representative philosophical classics and philosophers' thoughts, fully revealing the characteristics of Chinese philosophical wisdom that are different from Western philosophy and its modern value. This book proposes a four-stage division of the history of Chinese philosophy; it deletes the tedious textual research and historical background parts, and goes straight to the philosophical theme, using this to select trends of thought and representative figures, highlight the key points and key points of their philosophical thoughts, focus on the big and let go of the small, accurately grasp the relevant categories and propositions, objectively comment on the contributions and limitations of each school, and talk about it. We strive to explain each issue thoroughly, and do not focus on one issue here and there, so that we cannot talk clearly; we focus on strengthening the plain understanding and corresponding interpretation of the most representative original classics and characters' thoughts, and strive to analyze the connotation and characteristics of Chinese philosophy, especially the difference with Western philosophy, and avoid wearing boots and hats, and cutting feet to fit shoes.
