This book uses a documentary style to record the legendary journey of 8,000 soldiers from the old liberated area of Bohai, Texas during the War of Liberation, who joined the 359th Brigade of General Wang Zhen and formed the Bohai Sea Region Teaching Brigade, which was later changed to the Independent Sixth Brigade of the Northwest Field Army and the Second Infantry Division of the First Field Column. They set out from the Bohai Bay and marched westward for thousands of miles. They finally reached Xinjiang, liberated Xinjiang, and then took root in Xinjiang. It has important historical research value.
