Xin Qiji was a famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. He had heroic spirit. There are more than 620 of his poems in existence. He has a distinctive personal style and outstanding artistic achievements. Liu Yangzhong, the commentator of this book, combined Xin Qiji's life experience and the evolution of his poetry style, divided the creation of Jiaxuan poetry into five stages, namely the Jianghuai and Huaihe period, the Daihu period, the central Fujian period, and the Qianshan period at Jingkou and Zhejiang. The poet's most representative works are extracted. For the year and order of the works, refer to Deng Guangming's "Chronological Notes on Jiaxuan Ci (Updated Edition)".
