Chu Anping later engaged in public opinion work and has always adhered to the belief and demeanor he had developed since his youth. His political commentary style is sharp, calm, passionate, but never irrational; he is angry, but rarely makes excessive remarks. This has a lot to do with the cultivation of modern political civilization he developed in his youth. The growth paths of Chinese liberal intellectuals vary. Some are born with a liberal temperament, some become liberal intellectuals due to changes in their knowledge systems, and more often they gradually identify with liberal ideals due to personal circumstances, experiences and setbacks.
