"Lenin's Literary Thoughts and Contemporary Times" is the research result of the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" National Social Science Fund project hosted by the author. It was published by Beijing Normal University Press in 1997. "Modern Interpretation of Lunacharsky's Literary Theory Criticism" is the research result of the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" National Social Science Fund project hosted by the author. It was published by Peking University Press in 2001. This collection contains the author's research results on the history of Russian and Soviet literary criticism. The first part, "Between History and Form-A Perspective for Examining Russian Literary Theory in the 19th and 20th Centuries," is selected from some chapters of the author's different monographs and papers published in journals, but the overall concept is new and is subject to the new concept. A new "General Introduction" and five new chapters are also written, and five related papers are attached. The second part, "The Development of Russian Marxist Literary Theory in the 20th Century," is selected from the "General Introduction: The Development and Characteristics of Russian Marxist Literary Theory in the 20th Century" written by the author of the book "Research on Russian Marxist Literary Theory in the 20th Century," an overview of each era (the rise of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the establishment and internal dialogue in the 1920s and 1930s, reflection and expansion in the 1950s and 1960s, and new trends in the 1970s and 1980s), and selected two related papers. The third part, "New Progress in Contemporary Soviet Literature and Art," is selected from "Russian-Soviet Literary Theory in the 20th Century."
