This book is the research result of the National Social Science Fund project "Research on Wallace Stevens's Abstract Poetics" (14BWW054, the final score is excellent). This book explores the issues of comparative poetics, exploring the nature of poetry, the various possibilities of poetry forms, poetry and cultural traditions, the relationship between poetry and people and the times from multiple angles, and integrates Chinese and Western, old and new poetry styles to reflect the inheritance and evolution of poetry tradition in the new era. This book explores Eastern and Western comparative poetics, attempts to inherit the tradition of "poetry based on poetry" in Chinese poetic theory, and integrates Eastern and Western poetic theories in order to open up new ways of comparative poetics research. It is a theoretical and practical exploration of comparative poetics. Another result of this project, "The Abstract Poetics of Wallace Stevens", has been published by Zhejiang University Press. This book and the book mutually confirm each other and have strong reference significance for further research on comparative poetics between the East and the West.
