This book is the memoirs of Mr. Cheng Tianzhu, an alumnus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and former chief engineer of the Science and Technology Bureau of China State Shipbuilding Corporation. The author has long served in the national shipbuilding industry authorities. The book uses the author's personal experience to fully demonstrate the various stages of the development of my country's shipbuilding industry from weak to strong and even to become a major and powerful world shipbuilding country. It also fully reflects the important contributions made by the author in participating in and engaging in the organization and management of major national shipbuilding science and technology projects.
