"The Afterglow of the Night" tells the story of the emotional entanglement between a young girl Yu Zi and her guqin teacher Cheng Yan due to day-to-day teaching and learning in an old piano room.

Linhai and Songjiang are 1,182 kilometers apart. In her memory, Lu Feibai, who traced the shape of her eyes like the moon, was still waiting quietly and patiently for her to return to Songjiang. Cheng Zhiyu thought about escaping more than once, but when she thought of those eyes that looked at her as if they were looking at the whole world, she soft-heartedly stayed in Linhai.
