Retracing their origins in Europe and tracking their whereabouts in China, historical scholars on both sides of the Taiwan Strait have worked together to explore ancient and modern Chinese and foreign history, geography, literature, art documents, and European classic \u002F niche natural history works to reveal to us one by one the "true" faces of these mysterious ancient sea and land creatures.
