This book is divided into two parts. The first part mainly discusses that the Hakka ethnic lineage is formed by the fusion of various ethnic lines in the south. The Hakka ancestry is no different from other non-Hakka Han ancestry in Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi and other provinces. They are all the result of the great integration of the Chinese nation for more than a thousand years. This book absorbs many reasonable views of Professor Luo Xianglin, and presents a large number of historical records to support the arguments with solid data. At the same time, this book cites a large number of genealogies, many of which are borrowed from private households. These are rare and precious historical materials. The second part mainly conducts a comparative study of the Hakka ethnic group and other ethnic groups, and discusses the ethnic distribution and humanistic characteristics of the Hakka people in Fujian, the business character of the Hakka people in western Fujian and the Maritime Silk Road connecting cities, and the migration history of the Hakka people to Zhangzhou in southern Fujian based on genealogical data.
