On November 20, 2019, Xu Yong, a senior editor of Xinhua News Agency, suffered a heart attack at his workplace. Unfortunately, he died on the job after rescue efforts failed. After Xu Yong's death, colleagues from Xinhua News Agency and journalists published commemorative articles in memory of Xu Yong.
