This book is a compilation of prefaces written by teacher Chen Xueming for his students. Teacher Chen has made great achievements in the field of Marxist philosophy and is a representative figure in this field. Most of his students are also engaged in philosophical research and have become leaders among young scholars. The characteristic of this collection of prefaces is that Teacher Chen wrote the preface as a student tutor, and the books on which the preface is based are all written by his students. These prefaces were written affectionately by Teacher Chen and contain two parts: first, introducing the students' situation, including family and academic aspects. Secondly, I introduce the value of this book, which contains Teacher Chen's academic views. These prefaces can not only show his care for students, but also reflect his deep affection for philosophy and his dedication to provide academic guidance for academic juniors. They are very beneficial and inspiring to young students and student mentors.
