I was born in Guxia Village, Pingnan County, Fujian Province. Pingnan is a typical alpine ecological county with a mountainous area of 1.78 Million acres, accounting for 81% of the total area under its jurisdiction. With an average altitude of 830 meters, it is the mountainous county with the highest average altitude in Fujian Province. This manuscript is a memoir. The author recalled the life experiences of his ancestors, father and mother, and also recorded interesting stories about his childhood of chopping firewood, herding cattle, and catching fish, as well as his life situations from elementary school to high school. This manuscript reflects the author's deep attachment to his hometown. Through this manuscript, we can also understand the changes of the times.
