"Chen Dongdong's Poems" is one of the Blue Star Poetry Library series. Part of the selected works are 90 short poems selected over the past 35 years of writing, and the other part is three groups of "continuous poems". Chen Dongdong's poems are full of musical beauty and fantasy. He returns to the classical literary tradition in his writing and uses exquisite language. Chen Dongdong won the Poet of the Year Award at the 17th Chinese Literature Media Awards (2019). He is the most outstanding representative of contemporary Chinese poets since the 1980s. His recent works include "Aerospace Poems" (2015), "Journey to the South" (2016), "Beijingers" (2016), "It's Still a Strange Word" (2014), etc. His poetic skills are exquisite, full of thoughts, and extraordinary creativity, and can be called classics.

This book is a collection of essays by the famous poet Chen Dongdong about the creation and thinking of many outstanding contemporary poets in my country. The writing originated from the column "Bright Star" in Harvest magazine, and the column title came from a poem by John Keats. The author first tells about Zhang Zao, who died of illness in 2010, and then continues to write about Chang Yao, Guo Lusheng (index finger) and Luo Yihe. The author hopes that by talking about these contemporary Chinese poets he has chosen, he can provide an introductory guide to people who do not know much about contemporary poetry.
