"Li Shutong: Walking in Love and Freedom": Li Shutong was born into a wealthy family. He was personable and talented. He made achievements in many fields such as poems and articles, epigraphy, calligraphy and painting, drama and music. From a modern perspective, he is a tall, rich and handsome man. However, when he was 39 years old, he became a monk and preferred to accompany the ancient Buddha with green lanterns. He did not make such a decision because of his heartlessness. In his eyes, life is ultimately a mixture of sorrow and joy. Happiness and pain, joy and sadness always go hand in hand. Only by letting go of everything in the world and following the Dharma can we achieve true love and freedom. Compassionate love is the antidote to all suffering.
