Jiaodong wet nurses are a great and selfless group of women. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, they actively participated in the anti-Japanese and national salvation movement and made indelible contributions to the consolidation and development of the base area and the victory of the national anti-Japanese war. As a gift to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, this book takes the oral accounts of 19 infants, the oral accounts of 13 wet nurses and their families, and the stories of 12 infants looking for relatives as the main content. Through the form of pictures and texts, it outlines the true historical picture of the Jiaodong nurses stationed at the rear during the war years and the soldiers on the front line returning home together through different routes to protect their families and the country. Nowadays, these wet nurses have passed away, and the wet nurses have gradually entered their old age. These "rescue" contents not only provide precious first-hand information for relevant research, but also fully demonstrate the deep friendship between the military and civilians, who share life and death.
