The author is grateful for his upbringing in his hometown, sighs for further studies at university, and gratitude for his professional and technical work. Through the memories of some personal stories he heard, experienced and witnessed in different periods, the author introduces his ordinary growth experience, expresses his love for the motherland, his nostalgia for the years and his gratitude to his relatives and friends. At the same time, he also expresses some life insights from the depths of his heart while recalling the bumpy experiences he encountered. Although the article does not follow a formal format, the experience of a graduate of a seventh-level or seventh-level engineering college who came from a remote rural area still has some lessons for many strivers.
