The township government was called a "commune" at that time. The village where the "Commune" is located is called "Jishang" by everyone. There is a health center, grain store, school, police station, post and telecommunications station, Xinhua Bookstore in Jishang... The largest building in Jishang is probably the big house called "Zhoutang Cinema". The cinema in my hometown is tall and grand, with a red roof and gray-white walls. It faces north and south.
