"Long Night Journey" is a fantasy novel set in the Republic of China. It tells the story of the Lord of the Ten Thousand Demons Tower and the half-demon girl who work together to detect cases and subjugate demons. It consists of eight relatively independent series of stories, which contain both warm and touching emotions as well as suspenseful cases. The character setting is more of a single-character anime style. Although it is not three-dimensional, it is fortunate that the personality is distinct and the character design is lovable. For example, Shen Qionghua, the owner of the Ten Thousand Demons Tower, has a cold and calm personality. He follows the rules in everything. He seems to be ruthless, but in fact he is a kind-hearted person with compassion. The heroine Lian Xin is an orphan. Her poor background makes her especially able to understand people's sufferings. She has a stubborn and kind personality, is honest and enthusiastic, and is extremely stingy but dares to sacrifice. This is what makes her so cute. The common "monster opens a shop" routine, the writing style is brisk, the reading experience is good, full of warmth, and suitable for light reading by the public.
