In this way, I spent all my life never thinking that one day I would be connected with coffee shops, never thought that I would open a small coffee shop, never thought that I would come into contact with so many coffee shop owners from all over the country because of my work, never thought that I would start a coffee shop literature and art sharing alliance, hold art exhibitions in coffee shops all over the country, rehearse original close-up dramas, and never thought that I would write a book about "cafes".

Masaji Aoki is one of the important representatives of the Kyoto School of Chinese Studies in Japan. This book takes Aoki Masaji as the main research object and combines it with the context of modern Japanese culture. It focuses on a series of research results of Aoki Masaji in the history of Chinese opera and literature, clarifies his unique research perspective and research methods, and analyzes how modern Japanese Chinese studies established China's "difference" and how to seek the essence of "self" by returning to the origin of Chinese culture.
