The literature of the Qing Dynasty, which is in the period of academic summary and transformation, shows the distinctive characteristics of integrating the achievements of previous dynasties without lacking new innovations, and is the final glory of Chinese classical literature. This book is based on a general survey of Wenhua literature in the Qing Dynasty, combined with the unique academic atmosphere and ideological trends of the times in the Qing Dynasty, and studies the Wenhua in the Qing Dynasty from both macro and micro levels. Macroscopic theoretical research is based on the refining and summarization of specific literary documents, and strives to contain micro within the macro; micro special book research aims to examine the relationship between important literary individuals and relevant theories or styles, hoping to reveal macro within micro.

This book is Professor Cai Delong's comprehensive survey and narration of literary works of the Qing Dynasty, as well as a philological work that reveals the theory of essays and determines their value. The author has counted more than 250 kinds of literary works in the Qing Dynasty, divided into two parts. The upper part records the surviving works, and the lower part records those that have no books. In order of chronology, the author's information, volume, and version information are recorded in detail, focusing on elucidating the concept, value, era, etc. Of article studies, revealing the prosperity of article theory and literary writing in the Qing Dynasty, providing a documentary basis for research on article studies in the Qing Dynasty, with a view to building a discourse system of article studies with local and national characteristics. Part of the text is accompanied by book and photo for reference.
