Maybe many people don't know that shrimps have to go through dozens of painful molts to grow. Twenty years of large-scale collective management of people's communes has formed a gorgeous and hard shell in China's rural areas. We want to break away from it, but we are afraid of breaking away from it. On the eve of the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the collective was in trouble. A careless young man became the team leader by lottery, and did many extraordinary things with his ignorant and lovely lover. Unexpectedly, the increase in production that year brought bad luck, and this bad luck was also entangled with love. To go out of line is to break through. The novel uses the shrimp dance, a unique local folk dance, as a clue, and uses prose to reproduce the passionate and exhausted era and the lustful people of that era.
