Silo Corpse
General Fiction筒仓陈尸
By Ronald Knox
Upon hearing the news of Wesley's death, Britton suddenly felt that the atmosphere in the entire manor was different: the door lock made a clicking sound, and the key in the lock turned slightly, just like an ominous sign; the fresh air from outside had not yet entered the room, there was no bright sunshine, no cockcrow, and no fragrance of earth. The entire courtyard was shrouded in a thick fog, which was very out of place. The mist obscured the bank across the river. Halliford and Britton walked outside together, their steps very heavy, as if they were about to face the devil's world.
