This article uses time travel as a creative carrier to re-deconstruct the classic literary character Xiang Linsao from the perspective of the modern housekeeping profession. It tells the story of the protagonist, a modern gold medal housekeeper, who accidentally time travels and becomes Xiang Linsao, a woman at the bottom of the old society. She relies on her professionalism, diligence and sobriety to try to break free from the shackles of fate. The work closely follows the core of "Gold Medal Housekeeping", not only restoring Xianglin's hard-working, capable, simple and tenacious working character in the original work, but also giving the character a new soul with modern consciousness, showing her journey from passively enduring suffering to actively seeking dignity and relying on her professional skills to fight injustice and prejudice under the oppression of feudal ethics. The article uses small things to see the big things, uses novel settings to collide with classic tragedies, and satirizes the old society's disregard for workers and the cannibalistic nature of ethics in the contrast. It not only retains the core of the tragedy of the times in Lu Xun's works, but also gives the story the power of modern awakening, allowing classic characters to glow with a different kind of vitality in the new narrative.
