近代中国江南基督宗教文人研究（1868—1919）

This book takes the Christian literati in Jiangnan in China from 1868 to 1919 as the research object. It first examines the spread of Christianity in China and the basic situation of Christian literati in Jiangnan in modern China. Secondly, it analyzes the characteristics of Christian literati in Jiangnan in modern China in the literary field from three aspects: literary translation and creation, literary concepts and literary activities. Finally, in connection with the development of modern Chinese literature, the study of Christian literati in the south of the Yangtze River in modern China is placed into the category of literary history to make an overall evaluation. From the perspective of literary research, taking Chinese Christian literati in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China as the research object can systematically sort out the relationship between Chinese Christianity and literature during this period, fill the vacuum of coverage of Christian religious groups in modern literary history, and supplement the research on the history of literature and literary criticism at the documentary level.
