In this era of rapid change, the importance of education, as the cornerstone of shaping hope for the future, is self-evident. On the vast stage of education, every educator is an indispensable star. They illuminate the growth of children with different lights. Starting today, after I have been transferred from the position of head teacher to deputy head teacher, I still adhere to my original intention of education and use practical actions to interpret the true meaning of "education watch". Going back to that disturbing moment, when a leader used Suzhou slang to remind me that he was worried that because the school did not recommend me to participate in the city-level excellence evaluation, I would not be resentful because it would affect my enthusiasm for teaching. I was filled with surprise. This surprise is not due to unfamiliarity with the language, but because the leader does not understand me as a person. To me, education is a mission and a belief, not an attachment to honor. When the bell rang in August 2024, I embarked on a new journey as the deputy head teacher of Class 202209 of Lou Fengshi Elementary School with full enthusiasm and firm steps. In the position of deputy head teacher, I know that the responsibilities I shoulder have not been reduced by half. On the contrary, it requires me to pay attention to the details of each child's growth with a more delicate mind and a broader mind, and to listen to their inner voices. In order to better record these precious moments, and to leave a valuable asset to my educational career, I decided to write a book called "Education Watch" about every bit of my work as a deputy head teacher, as well as those educational stories that touched my soul.

When my "three-foot paradise" slowly closed its curtain, my soul, which had been caressed by the chalk of time and warmed by the brilliance of knowledge for thirty-one years, actually started to play "time hiding", as if to avoid the solemn and slightly sad word "retirement". While the sea of ​​​​mind is churning, a spark of inspiration blooms brightly - why not weave this last voyage of reluctance into a gorgeous chapter called "Traces of Time", so that every drop of laughter condensed by sweat and every thought illuminated by the light of wisdom dances between the lines, painting a touching educational landscape painting? Therefore, "Traces of Time" not only became my most affectionate review and farewell to the educational stage, it was also a voyage of the soul, a chronicle that records the intertwining of dreams and reality, the dance of sweat and smiles. In "Traces of Time", I will treasure those moments when students' eyes sparkle with the light of seeking knowledge, and record the footsteps of their growth. From youth to maturity, every step embodies the melody of youthful vitality. At the same time, this is also a profound reflection and summary of my own teaching beliefs. Those thoughts about love, responsibility, persistence and innovation, like bright stars, have illuminated my path forward and will continue to illuminate the journey of those who come after me. "Traces of Time" tells the world: Teaching is a beautiful encounter and an endless exploration. And although I will leave this podium soon, my love and wisdom will remain with these words forever in the depths of those young and eager hearts, becoming an eternal beacon in their journey of life.
