The National Library of China's collection of ancient Chinese maps is second to none. Based on the collection and research of ancient Chinese maps collected by the National Library, combined with relevant materials, this book conducts an in-depth discussion of the development context of various thematic maps in ancient China. Based on this, it selects maps from the collection of ancient Chinese maps in the National Library that can represent the development context of each thematic map and introduces them specifically, thereby displaying the development context of ancient Chinese maps more comprehensively and comprehensively. This book contains a total of 59 papers by members of the Map Group of the National Library. It comprehensively displays the appearance of traditional maps from multiple angles, including the business work of national maps, a comprehensive overview of ancient maps, and the origin and flow of thematic maps. It also introduces the long-term map work of the National Library.
