My Rainbow Road tells the story of a country girl's growth in the form of poetry and prose. Qiuyan is the eldest daughter in the family, with two younger sisters. The younger sister died at the age of four, and her mother was already half crazy at that time. The second younger sister fell ill and contracted "cromhornia" when she was in the fifth grade.
