In the political practice of traditional society, article writing, as the "great cause of running a country", is an important way to convey intentions, carry out actions, expand effects and create glory. Wang Xijue was a typical scholar-bureaucrat with both political and literary identities in the Ming Dynasty society. He was also a figure in the political history of the Ming Dynasty who could effectively play the political function of literature. This book attempts to examine the interactive relationship between Wang Xijue's literary writing and his political actions, and reflects on the current academic understanding of the relationship between politics and literature based on the research results of surrounding disciplines such as linguistics and political science.
