One week before the school chorus competition, Su Yuanya was informed to partner with transfer student Han Lingyi as a piano accompanist. "I'll play the high notes and you'll be in charge of the bass." He pushed the music sheet over with a cold face. There were only two of us in the piano room. When his fingers danced on the keys, the sunlight just fell on his eyelashes. On the day of the game, Han Lingyi's seat was empty. The teacher said that he sent the withdrawal application early in the morning. When I was finishing the four-hand combination by myself, I saw the title page of the music score he left behind which read: "In the parallel world, I'm still playing the bass for you."
