In 2126 AD, after a hundred years of technological explosion, mankind finally broke through the shackles of interstellar navigation and launched the "Pangu" plan to attack the edges of the solar system with all its strength, trying to take the first step towards interstellar colonization. When the first manned warp spacecraft arrived in the Kuiper Belt and sent a signal of human civilization to the universe, it unexpectedly awakened the Zeigs, a high-level interstellar civilization entrenched in the Orion spiral arm of the Milky Way. The Zergs regard the interstellar expansion of low-level civilizations as the destruction of the order of the universe, and use their absolutely crushing technological power to launch a devastating blow to the earth. Human civilization is on the verge of extinction overnight. In a desperate situation, genius physicist Lin Shen and iron-blooded interstellar commander Lu Zheng were ordered to lead the remaining forces of mankind to defend the earth and force back the Zeg advance fleet at the expense of hundreds of millions of compatriots. After the war, mankind fully understood the cruelty of the universe and devoted all global resources to transform the solar system into a fortified interstellar fortress, creating a three-dimensional defense system covering the eight major planets, the asteroid belt, and the Oort Nebula. At the same time, in order to prevent civilization from being completely trapped in the cage of war, and in order to continue the human fire, mankind launched the "Ark" immigration plan. Amidst the flames of war and defense construction, it arduously marched towards the habitable planets outside the solar system. While resisting the successive attacks of the Zergs, it also opened up new homes for survival and wrote a tragic epic of low-level civilizations struggling to survive and desperate counterattacks in the vast universe.
