In the early 1980s, when I started researching the history of Mongolia and Inner Mongolia, I developed a strong interest in the history of Alxa. I collected information, compiled the "Alxa Historical Data Collection" earlier, wrote articles about the ancient Juyan and Heicheng ruins, and visited the Bayanhot and Heicheng ruins many times.
